Big Moose Lake, N.Y.

The following travel information

has been carefully compiled

and maticulously created

in order to help you on your journey.

 

 

Since the Glenmore Hotel Bar and Grill

is essentially in the middle of

absolutely nowhere,

nestled deep in the tranquil beauty

of the Adirondack Mountains.

 

 

The following travel directions

are being provided to you

for your convenience.

 

 

 

In order to reach our establishment,

It is our desire that your journey

to our home will be a safe

and pleasurable experience.

For those of you that may be

traveling a great distance,

please make use of the following

picture series as a reference...

 

 

 

 

When approaching our local Galactic Group,

Take Universal Exit M32

to the Galactic Center of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Please note that our galaxy,

"The Milky Way",

is the second largest

of the 3 galaxies in our neighborhood

and is spiral in shape.

 

 

 

 

Note: Please make sure to take

the proper Universal Exit M32...

and not Exit M31. 

This common travel error

will take you to our

neighboring galaxy

"Andromeda".

and will take you 2.9 million light years

out of your way.

 

Once you reach the Galactic Center

of the "Milky Way Galaxy"

turn right at the first

interstellar exchange and travel

5,421 light years to our Solar System.

 

 

 

Our Solar System

is comprised of 10 planets:

4 inner Terrestrials, 4 outer Jovians,

and one distant rock

named after a cartoon dog,

Our Solar Systems 10th planet

which was only recently discovered and is still

yet un-named lies at our

Solar Systems rim.

 

Our Planet, which is known by several names,

( Terra Firma, Earth & Gia )

is the third rock from our sun...

 

 

Upon approaching our planet, please be

cautious of Klingons around our seventh planet, Uranus.

 

 

 

 

Earth.  

Our Home planet.

North Western Hemisphere.

Country: United States of America.

 

 

The Glenmore Hotel Bar and Grill

is located in the Northeastern section

of our country in the beautiful State of

New York.

 

 

Once you have reached New York,

and depending on which direction you are traveling...many travel options exist.

 

 

Directions from New York City Area:

 

Take I-87 North towards Albany ( 128 Miles )

I-87 North changes into I-90 west to Utica.

Take Utica exit #31

Travel North on Route 12 ( 22 Miles )

Continue North on Route 28

toward Old Forge ( 36 Miles )

Continue on Route 28 to Eagle Bay ( 10 Miles )

Once in Eagle Bay take a left onto

Big Moose Road

and travel 6 Miles into the woods.

Eventually you will come to an

intersection with many business signs...

Note that our Sign

is the big one in the middle.

Take two right hand turns

and you will find us

at the bottom of the hill.

 

 

Alternate Directions from New York City Area:

 

Take I-87 North towards Albany ( 128 Miles )

From Albany continue north on I-87 ( 40 Miles )

to Warrensburg, take exit #23

Travel east on Route 28 to Eagle Bay ( 75 Miles )

Once in Eagle Bay take a right onto

Big Moose Road

and travel 6 Miles into the woods to

the Glenmore Hotel Bar and Grill.

 

 

Directions from all Points East;

Syracuse, Rochester & Buffalo Area:

 

Take I-90 west to Utica.

Take Utica exit #31

Travel North on Route 12 ( 22 Miles )

Continue North on Route 28

toward Old Forge ( 36 Miles )

Continue on Route 28 to Eagle Bay ( 10 Miles )

Once in Eagle Bay take a left onto

Big Moose Road.

Travel 6 Miles into the woods

and we will have a cold one waiting for you.

 

 

Travel Note:

Glen-Moron Tradition:

 

We suggest for those of you who enjoy music

that you please bring with you a copy of the song,

"Green Grass and High Tides Forever" by the Outlaws.

 

When you turn the corner onto Big Moose Road in Eagle Bay...

start the song...if you drive an average speed of 30 - 40 MPH,

the song will finish playing when you pull into our parking lot.
